25th Anniversary, 2018

Prempeh was tipped as favourites of the 25th-anniversary edition of the NSMQ. They were en route to win their fifth title to equal Presec Boys five times championship titles. This hope was cut short by the West Africa SHS yesterday at the University of Ghana Business School.

Their city rivals, Opoku Ware School were eliminated earlier at the quarterfinal stage of the competition by Mawuli School. They were crashed out of the contest alongside New Juaben SHS by the Ho based school which is the third time the “Akatakyies” have lost a contest to a Volta Region based institution in the last two years.
